Introduction: Who am I, and why am I writing this blog?

Hi, I’m Ash.

I’ve been working in the software industry for more than 25 years. I have extensive experience in all assets, having primarily worked as a software engineer but have also worked at all stages of business. From marketing to sales, to project management, to design, to development, to analytics, and through to customer retention. This has given me a unique take on the entire software world and allowed me to understand all aspects of the cycle. I’m here to enable you to get on quickly and not need to make mistakes using the wrong things.

There are some simple rules which I’ve discovered, which help to make us more productive.

Review your progress. This is an important step, as it allows you to see whether you are making progress towards your goals. It can be easy to get sidetracked, and if you don’t keep track of your progress, you might find that you are going backward.
